Due to a forecasted ice & snow storm, ACA will be closed on Tuesday, February 9.
ACA is offering an Art Class beginning February 1. The class will be at 1:00. The class will be taught by Mrs. Deborah Scruggs. The class will be somewhat compressed, since the second semester is already under way, but Mrs. Scruggs hopes to teach a variety of media, including charcoal, watercolors, acrylics, and “found art.”
In the future, in addition to posting closings on this site, ACA will announce weather related closings on WSET channel 13, Lynchburg.
The Virginia Institute for Marine Science and NOAA and CBIBS were impressed with all of what the ACA Biology class accomplished in the 2007-2008 school year for the Water quality monitoring project!!! Congratulations on a job well done! As a result, we have a second year on this grant.
